Industrial Challenge's objectives
The aim of the Industrial Challenge is to accelerate the recycling of textiles and footwear in France and Europe, through the industrialisation of innovative technologies and industrial outlets.
For this 1st edition, Refashion sought to receive projects with a technology readiness level of between 7 and 9, and which fit into one of the following strategic areas:

Industrial solutions for automated sorting to recognise materials and colours, and to prepare non-reusable household textiles and footwear for recycling,

Industrial solutions for recycling non-reusable used household textiles and footwear,
-
Incorporation of recycled materials into semi-finished or finished products on an industrial scale.
