Refashion is the eco-organisation for the Textile and Footwear sector. Our mission is to unite and support all stakeholders, from production to consumption to regeneration, in order to reduce impact and create value. To do this, we collect your eco-contributions in order to implement actions that help meet the objectives set out in our specifications.
How is the eco-contribution calculated?
Every year the eco-organization determines its financing needs and sets the contribution to be called for the following year with its board of directors.
Your 2025 eco-contribution is calculated as follows:
Estimated volumes put on the market 2025* x Scale 2025 (simplified** or detailed) including repair fund
+ Administrative costs: 30€
+ ADEME fees: 2.784€ (see the decree in french only)
* including repair and reuse funds
** The simplified scale is an option available to companies that declare volumes of less than 5,000 items/ year and that d not declare products eligible for eco-modulations.

The 2025 eco-tax is submitted to the public authorities for approval at the of end 2024. It should be noted that in view of the challenges involved in the new 2023/208 agreement, the budgets invested in reducing the environmental impact of the Textile and Footwear sector are increasing, with a corresponding impact on ec-ocontributions.

From January 15 to March 31: Invoicing and Payment

The balance of the 2024 eco-contribution call for funds (products placed into the market in 2024)

The 2025 eco-contribution call for funds (based on 2025 sales estimated by Refashion on the basis of actual 2024 volumes)

For any declaration and payment of eco-contribution after the deadline, late payment penalties, defined in the contract, will be applied.
The call for eco-contribution funds (year N) is made on the basis of a marketing forecast (year N) drawn up by Refashion. In 2025, estimated marketings are equal to the volumes declared for 2024. The adjustment of actual quantities marketed in 2025 will take place in the first quarter of 2026.
