Have you seen the movie Don't Look Up?
In this movie, two scientists desperately try to warn of the imminent impact of a giant comet on Earth. Inspired by the current climate crisis, this comedy-drama denounces indifference to expert warnings, misinformation and the inaction of elites. Between media sarcasm and political interests, the scientists' message comes up against a wall of collective inaction. The film's satirical approach has raised awareness, prompting strong reactions and rekindling public debate on the climate crisis and the urgent need to take action, whether on TV, in forums or on social networks.
With our Refashion Day, we seek to turn this awareness into concrete action, by bringing together experts and committed players in the textile industry to develop a sustainable and desirable way of thinking that takes account of the planet's limits.

Refashion Day: a day of reflection and concrete action for the textile industry
Refashion Day 2024, organised in partnership with WE DEMAIN, is an opportunity to come together to co-construct concrete solutions for a desirable and more responsible future. As every year, experts and committed players will be invited to take part in round tables and to speak on three major themes:

Co-constructing tomorrow's collection: Reinventing used-clothing collection systems to optimise management and guarantee a second life for our textiles

Cooperating for a more responsible end-of-life for clothing: Exploring solutions to enhance the value of textiles at the end of their life cycle, whether through recycling, reuse or repair.

Europe: strength in numbers: Examining how European collaboration can accelerate the transition to a circular and more sustainable textile industry.

Like the call for vigilance launched in Don't Look Up, Refashion Day is part of a proactive approach. It's time to face up to our challenges and take action, together.
This annual event invites all the players involved in change - industry experts, brands, innovators and citizens - to cooperate and respond collaboratively to ecological and social challenges to create new models for the industry.
