A new year means new projects! In 2024, Refashion is launching a new call for projects: the Industrial Challenge!

Refashion is launching a new call for projects to develop new industrial solutions for recycling non-reusable used textiles and footwear in France and Europe: the Industrial Challenge.

The Industrial Challenge aims to accelerate the transition to a circular textile industry through the industrialisation of innovative technologies and industrial outlets. Project sponsors will be able to benefit from funding of up to €2 million.

Refashion unveils the 7 winning projects of the Industrial Challenge

After reviewing 25 applications, 7 projects covering the entire value chain were selected. 5.4 million will be invested to support the development of these industrial outlets across France and Europe.

Refashion is the Textile industry's eco-organisation (clothing, household linen and footwear). Its role is to oversee the prevention and end-of-life management of these items for the companies which place them on the market.

Central to the industry's eco-system, Refashion is accompanying the transformation towards the circular economy whilst providing services to the various stakeholders: marketers, collection and sorting operators, local and public authorities, project developers, the general public.
